How to get?

The municipality of Altea is located in the Valencian Community, belongs to the region of the Marina Baja in Alicante and is 131 km from Valencia and 474 km from Madrid.

From Valencia:

To go to Altea from Valencia, if you are coming by car, it is best to come on the AP-7 and take exit 64. Once you have taken the exit, continue along the CV-755 road and use the N-332 branch. Keep right to continue on N-332 until you reach the center of Altea.

The estimated travel time is 1 hour and a half.

Using public transport schedules may vary, but it is best to take the bus from Valencia to Benidorm, and once there take the Intermodal stop, line 9, to Altea.

Travel time is about 2 and a half hours.

From Madrid:

By car it is recommended to use the R-3 until the A-3, then A-31 and AP-7 towards CV-755 in Valencian Community. Take exit 64 from AP-7. Finally drive on N-332 to Altea.

4 hours and a half of travel.

The best route by train is from Atocha to Alacant Terminal, and once in Alicante take the Tram to Benidorm and again take another train to Altea, Intermodal stop line 9.

5 hours and a half of travel.

From Barcelona:

To come by car, take exit 19 towards B-20 / C-32, direction Aeroport, merge onto B-20 and continue on C-32. Use the 2 left lanes to join E-15 / AP-7 towards Tarragona / Valencia. Take exit 64 and drive on N-332 to Altea.

4 hours 50 minutes trip.

From Barcelona by public transport you can go by bus to Valencia and from there to Altea, or use the train (Talgo) to Alacant Terminal, Tram to Benidorm and take the train at the Intermodal stop to Altea.
